How Love is the Key Corporation Began
In 2005, Atiya K. Turner, the founder and president of Love is the Key Corporation, decided to offer her gifts to people around her in need of support. Now, she has been serving her community for over 15 years.
Atiya takes a very hands-on approach to all the services she provides and lets her passion for creating a better, safer, and healthier world guide her forward. A few of the areas she works in include mental health care and high school retention as well as reducing addiction and recidivism (repeat offenders).
Along with the many services she provides, Atiya has also written and published a book titled The Rising of Her Gifts. In the book she shares a bit about her personal journey. It’s designed to empower the reader, build confidence, and inspire positive life changes.
Comprehensive Services From the Heart
Love is the Key Corporation offers virtual classes, services, and programs via Zoom as well as in person, including in-classroom and one-on-one settings. The topics covered include teen parenting, disease prevention, elder care, and more. A few of the available services and classes include:
- Free anxiety relief program
- Weekly individual counseling sessions, plus 24-hour, on-call counseling
- Age-appropriate group meetings for children and adults
- Resource referrals
- And many more!
Love is the Key Corporation also started the Born with a Purpose program that supports children born with an opioid dependence, children impacted by a caregiver’s addiction, and children with disabilities. Once participants finish the programs offered by Love is the Key Corporation, they receive a certificate of completion.
