NissanConnect®: An Overview

Sheridan Nissan offers a wide selection of Nissan cars, any of which are sure to fit your lifestyle needs and budget. Many of these Nissan’s are equipped with NissanConnect®, an advanced technology that enhances your driving experience.

NissanConnect® centralizes entertainment, security, convenience, navigation and staying connected on the go into one comprehensive package1. Using voice-recognition and a touch-screen information display, control your music, make phone calls, send pre-loaded texts, get to your next destination and more!

Security and Convenience

In the event of an emergency, you can contact emergency services through a live agent. If airbags are deployed, emergency services will automatically be contacted and sent to your location. Additionally, Nissan offers a 3-year/36,000-mile Roadside Assistance warranty, and you can access this feature using NissanConnect® as needed in the event of a flat tire or dead battery.

If you forgot to lock your car while getting out, you can lock it remotely (or unlock it as you approach the vehicle). Want to warm your car up on a cold morning? Simply remotely start your engine using NissanConnect®.

To keep track of your Nissan at all times, you can also locate your parked car and set boundaries and alerts if the boundaries are crossed (such as speed alerts and curfew alerts).

Entertainment and Information

With your compatible smartphone, NissanConnect® is compatible with both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Using Bluetooth® and hands-free, voice-responsive technology, play your favorite music on apps such as Pandora, Spotify and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. If your Nissan is navigation-equipped, using SiriusXM® Travel Link®, get weather information, stock information, sports scores and movie listings and times.

Using the built-in maps and a built-in GPS system, never worry about driving in unfamiliar territory again. See a visual map on your touch-screen information display while hearing turn-by-turn directions. Use SiriusXM® Traffic services to get real-time traffic updates and alternative routes to avoid heavy traffic. You can even search nearby gas stations along your route if you need to fuel up.

Google will also help you find what you need by responding to your voice. Simply say what you’re looking for, like “hair salon” or “burgers” to find nearby stores that will facilitate this inquiry.

Bluetooth® and the use of voice-recognition allows you to stay connected on the go. Make hands-free phone calls, send pre-loaded text messages and stay updated on social media. Check in places on Facebook and have the system read your Twitter feed.

With In-Vehicle Messaging (available with a NissanConnect® Services Select package2), get dealer service announcements, upcoming appointments and warranty alerts delivered to your Nissan as you make your way around town.

Does this sound like the type of entertaining and convenient technology you want and need in your next car? Visit Sheridan Nissan to learn more and test drive NissanConnect® compatible cars.
