Performance

The 2019 Nissan LEAF S, SV and SL models are each equipped with a 40 kWh battery that delivers 147 horsepower. This battery gives you a range of up to 150 miles between charges. The 2019 Nissan LEAF S Plus is equipped with a 62 kWh that delivers 214 horsepower. This battery gives you a range of up to 226 miles between charges. This is a longer range than expected in the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq EV (which has a range of up to 124 miles). You can charge at home or even on the go at public charge stations.

As previously stated, the Nissan LEAF is Nissan’s only car that is fully powered by electricity, so that means no gas. No gas means no gas emissions, thus making it environmentally friendly. Additionally, a non-gas powered motor also means less maintenance (no oil changes or traditional tune ups needed). This saves you quite a bit of money over time, which you can put to better use!

Technology

Driving the 2019 Nissan LEAF is as simple as using one pedal, an E-pedal. With the E-pedal, push down for instant acceleration and quickly slow down once you take your foot off the brake (you still have a brake pedal to use when necessary but taking your foot off the E-pedal will slows down the LEAF much quicker than taking your foot off the accelerator in a gas-powered car does).

Visit Sheridan Nissan to test out the E-pedal and see what difference electricity makes.
