Drivers are eligible for a federal tax credit of $7,500 as well as other state and local tax rebates and incentives. Go see Joe at Sheridan Nissan to learn more!

Power and Range

You can expect a driving range of 151 miles on a full charge from the 2019 Nissan LEAF. The LEAF is powered by a 40-kWh battery pack and delivers 147 HP and 236 lb.-ft. of torque. The LEAF’s lithium-ion battery limited warranty is good for 8 years/100,000 miles (whichever occurs first)1.

To achieve the best possible range, put the LEAF in Eco Mode, which will limit the motor’s output and conserve the most energy. When you put it in B Mode, it uses the most aggressive regenerative braking to charge the battery (essentially this means power used to brake is stored and reused to charge the battery).

The 2019 Nissan LEAF also features E-Pedal driving (one pedal driving). Of course, you’ll have both the gas pedal and the brake pedal, but you can choose to just use the gas pedal. Again, regenerative braking is used to slow the LEAF down once you take your foot off the gas pedal.

Safety

Nissan Intelligent Mobility™ uses sensors and a 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor to continuously scan your LEAF’s surroundings to anticipate anything that may interfere with your drive. The following safety features that are available help you drive with awareness and provide back up when you need it:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Intelligent Cruise Control
  • Intelligent Lane Intervention
  • High Beam Assist
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Hill Start Assist
  • Intelligent Trace Control
  • Active Ride Control
  • ProPILOT Assist

Technology

Each 2019 Nissan LEAF comes standard with a 5.0-inch LCD screen that you can upgrade to a 7.0-inch touchscreen. Listen to the radio or plug in your compatible smart phone (Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ available) to listen to the music on your phone, a podcast, an audiobook— whatever you prefer. A 7-speaker system is available from Bose as well.

You can also use NissanConnect® for navigation, traffic updates and remote access to your LEAF.

Charging

Charge the 2019 Nissan LEAF at home or stop at a public charging station. 6.6-kWh of charging will bring you a fully-charged LEAF in 7.5 hours, and when you need a quick charge to run an errand one hour of charging will give you 22 more miles. Simply plug your LEAF using a 120V/240V (sold separately) cord that can be plugged in the way you would a standard home washer or dryer. You can also find charging stations when you’re out on the road by using your navigation screen and easily get directions to the station.
