Get ready for the fun ride of new features and proven standbys that the Versa Note delivers!
Under the Versa Note's Hood
Every Versa Note derives its power from a 1.6-liter HR16DE 4-cylinder engine which sees 109 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 107 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm-- and this engine uses a dual fuel injector system and a Twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC). It's paired with a Nissan Xtronic transmission, achieving up to an EPA-estimated 39 miles per gallon highway fuel economy. The Xtronic transmission utilizes the new D-Step Logic Control tuning for awesome acceleration feel. An independent strut front suspension with stabilizer bar, electric power steering, and a torsion beam rear axle with integrated stabilizer bar all make their welcome contributions towards the smooth driving experience. The Versa Note has standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), standard power-assisted front disc/rear drum brakes, and a Brake Assist. Low rolling resistance tires are standard on all trims, increasing fuel efficiency.
Design of Nissan Versa Note
The 5-door 2017 Versa Note presents itself well with four full-featured trims: the S Plus, SV, SR and the SL. Standard are air-drag reducing "boomerang" rear taillights, and there are available fog lights and heated sideview mirrors. The Versa Note SR trim gains exterior and interior adjustments like a rear spoiler, sideview mirrors with integrated turn signals, body-color side sills, fog lights, a sport leather-wrapped steering wheel and machine-finished 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels which work to create a more athletic presentation. The Versa Note has a long 102.4-inch wheelbase, cargo space of 18.8 cubic feet, yet cleverly makes room in the interior while reducing bumper overhang to ease parking maneuvers. The interior also has rear legroom of 38.3 inches and front headroom of 40.8 inches. An option for the Divide-N-Hide Adjustable Floor is in the 2017 mix, enabling a flat cargo area. This works by lifting the cargo floorboard manually, which has an area underneath it to keep valuables out of sight. There are comfortable 4-way adjustable front bucket seats (S Plus trim) or a 6-way driver's seat (SV, SR, SL trims), a 12-volt power outlet, an M/FM/CD/Aux-in sound system with 4 speakers, double front and rear cupholders, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seat, a front passenger pocket on the seatback, front door pockets with bottle holders, and Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and more! The Versa Note SR has a svelte faux-suede seat accenting and a 370Z-esque racing steering wheel. Also obtainable are chrome/silver accents, a both leather-wrapped and audio-control mounted steering wheel, heated front seats, plus, a handy USB input with iPod controls. Among the Versa Note's unexpected and affordable technology is the class-exclusive "Around View Monitor". This employs 4 small but wide-angle cameras mounted on the Versa Note to stitch together a virtual 360° view around the vehicle. This system has selectable split-screen close-up views of the front, rear and curbside, and is standard on the SL trim. Also standard on SL (or within the optional SR Tech Package) is the NissanConnectSM with Navigation, which uses a 5.8-inch color touch-screen display and voice recognition.
What interior colors does the 2017 Versa Note come in?
Dual interior color choices are possible: Charcoal and Wheat Stone.
